Our experienced team can also help you organise post-conference activities. The Beach House is just a brief stroll from beautiful Waipu Cove Beach which is popular for swimming, surfing and fishing. Situated between the towns of Waipu and Mangawhai you are never short of something to see or do. The Beach House Restaurant is also located near two all weather golf courses; Mangawhai and Waipu Golf Club.

 

Other activities include visits to the Waipu River mouth and estuary. Having international significance as the nesting area for the New Zealand dotterel, variable oyster catcher and New Zealand fairy tern. Ruakaka Wildlife Refuge is at the Ruakaka River Mouth and is another breeding area for rare New Zealand sea birds. Approximately 300 metres of explored passageways in the Waipu Caves are located about 16km north. Visitors can explore the main cave and see one of the longest stalagmites in New Zealand and be dazzled by the glow worms that inhabit the caves.
